Community Garden
The Community Garden is a space that is open to all people in the Burleson community. Come walk through the garden any time, and spend time meditating in this quiet space, marveling at God's work of creation. All are welcome to join in our gardening effort to grow food for the Burleson community. We have plots available for families to adopt for FREE! Contact Chris Unger at to reserve yours!
We meet every Wednesday evening at 4:30 pm during winter hours and 6:00 pm during spring/summer hours to maintain the garden, fellowship together, and pray for one another.
We also have several big events each year, during each planting season as well as occasional special events. These events include a meal, planting the garden and other projects, and a special program for the children that come to the event. Save the dates, all from 9am to noon:
- April 5: Spring Planting
- May 3: Cinco De Mayo Sala Making
- July 12: Pumpkins and Ice Cream
- August 2: Fall Planting
- October 4: Winter Cover Crop Planting
- November 8: Poppies for Veterans
